There are many cat cafes in Seoul. If you enjoy getting up close and personal with our furry friends, you’ll have a purrfect time. So, which cat cafe should you visit?

To help you choose, here’s a spotlight on a popular Seoul cat cafe, Cats Playground. 😼
Cats Playground
Address: 37-14 Myeongdong 8-gil, Seoul
Entry fee: 13,000 Won
Opens: 12.00 (midday)
Time limit: None. You are free to stay as long as you like.
On entry to Cats Playground, remove your shoes and slip on some slippers.
After paying the entry fee, put all your belongings into plastic bags. This is to make sure nothing gets wet.
Wet? Yes, some cats get a little overexcited seeing so many people.
Once you’re all bagged up, enjoy a free drink which is part of the entry fee.
Then you are free to roam, take photos (no flash), play, pat and interact with over 50 different cats. Most cats are friendly and inquisitive.
Some are asleep like this, living their best life.
Others roam the cafe checking for food. Sorry, no food here, buddy. 🥓
Some relax and enjoy the view. This is my table now. 🛏️
Some guard the counter.
There’s even a playpen where you can sit and grab a toy and play with cats or, if you’re really brave, let them sit on your lap.
I enjoyed watching the entertaining antics. One naughty feline went into battle with a water bottle. You can guess who lost. Another pair were having a friendly fight on the nearest scratch pad.
