Titanic Belfast

Built by Harland and Wolff in 1909, the birthplace of Titanic is the very site of the museum. You’ll be instantly transported back to that infamous day on the 15th of April 1912.

There’s a tremendous amount of memorabilia to see, so make sure you allow a few hours for your visit. The museum is only a short walk from Belfast City Centre. Highly recommend.

Carrickfergus Castle

Carrickfergus Castle is a Norman castle located in the town of Carrickfergus 30 minutes north of Belfast. It ‘s one of the best preserved medieval castles in Northern Ireland playing an important military role until about 1928.

Strategically built, surrounded by water and used as an air-raid shelter in World War II, it has a lot of interesting historical artefacts.

One easy way to get to the castle is to take a train from Belfast City Centre to Carrickfergus town. Once you arrive at Carrickfergus, the castle is on your doorstep.

St George’s Market

St George’s Market was used as a mortuary in World War II when Belfast experienced heavy bombing from the Germans.

Today, St George’s is a marketplace with food vendors, traders and musicians. It’s a great market to visit, have a bite to eat, be entertained or do some shopping.


Crumlin Road Gaol

Address: 53-55 Crumlin Rd, Belfast BT14 6ST, United Kingdom

Crumlin Road Gaol located in North Belfast, was used as a prison until it closed its doors in 1996. Affectionately known as “The Crum”, it held many well known prisoners such as Martin McGuinness, Bobby Sands and Michael Stone.
